Dekmantel Festival completes 2022 lineup

  • After this morning's teaser, Dekmantel Festival has finalised this year's lineup. More than 120 acts will perform at the Amsterdam event's first edition since 2019. Running from August 3rd through 7th, the festival will begin with a series of concerts, talks and experimental performances on the Wednesday and Thursday, with Gaussian Curve, Tirzah, Erika de Casier and Squarepusher among the highlights. The festival proper will run from Friday through Sunday at Amsterdamse Bos. Dozens of acts have been announced since this morning, including JASSS, Kampire, Jossy Mitsu, Akua, Parris, DJ Lag, Helena Hauff, Eris Drew (who will play live and DJ back-to-back with Octo Octa), Channel One Sound System, Call Super, Blawan (who will play live), Dutch-Turkish rock band Altın Gün, DJ Stingray 313, AceMoMA, DJ EZ, Jayda G and festival favourite Antal, who will go back-to-back with Hunee for seven hours. They join the 13 acts revealed earlier today, among them UNiiQU3 and Afrobeat band Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, who will be joined by hip-hop legend Yasiin Bey, FKA Mos Def. The Wednesday and Thursday will take place at five venues along the IJ river: Muziekgebouw aan t' IJ, Parallel, Bimhuis, Eye Filmmuseum and Shelter.
