    Friday, August 27th

    Berlin

    • The debut edition of Queerport Festival is set to take place from September 3rd through 5th on the outskirts of Berlin, with Ellen Allien, Juliana Huxtable, Freddy K, Nene H and more making an appearance.

    Wednesday, August 18th

    Berlin

    • The PAN, Live From Earth and Never Sleep labels collaborate on a day party at Berlin's Funkhaus this August 28th. Titled Intercity Excess, the showcase features Bill Kouligas, Crystallmess, Ziur, Kamixlo and more.

    Alt Tellin

    • The first edition of Bau Mich Auf takes place in a castle two hours from Berlin from September 3rd through 5th. The festival will host artists including Dasha Rush, Rødhåd, Mell G, DJ Gigola and more.

    Wednesday, August 18th

    Berlin

    • Berlin techno crew Staub have announced their very own Staub Fest, taking place August 27-29th. The line-up is being kept a secret, but it'll be hosted out in the forests of West Berlin at H13.

    Tuesday, August 17th

    Marolles-sur-Seine

    Nostromo Festival will see the likes of Zip, Onur Özer, Rhadoo, Gwenan, Christian AB and Chris Korda play at the Château De Motteux on September 16th.

    Friday, August 13th

    Ascona

    Âme and Dixon close out their Swiss tour with a lakeside set at The Beach, taking place at Lido, Ascona on September 25th. They'll be joined on the night by Jimi Jules and the Naturklang Crew.

    Tuesday, August 10th

    Girona

    • The 2021 edition of Fort Festival is moving to a new location at Ciutadella de Roses, Girona. Taking place on October 1st-3rd, it'll feature sets from DJ Tennis, Jennifer Cardini, Pional and Erol Alkan b2b with Gerd Janson.

    Monday, August 9th

    Ludwigshafen am Rhein

    • On September 4th, the first edition of Blies Festival will take place on Blies Lake in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. The new one-day festival will feature the likes of Roza Terenzi, Christian AB and Dr. Rubinstein, as well as a live show from Mathew Jonson.

    Prague

    Lunchmeat Festival returns for its twelfth edition from September 27th to October 2nd in Prague. Taking place across various venues, the bill features numerous live collaborative audio-visual performances from the likes of Aquarian and Jakub Peše, AYA & Sweatmother and Dadub & FAX. Helena Hauff is also booked to DJ.

    Veggli

    Monument has finalised its lineup for the 2021 edition, adding Eli Verveine, Marco Shuttle, Anthony Linell and more to the techno festival set in the scenic Norwegian forests of Veggli.

    Cluj-Napoca

    • Heavyweight Romanian festival Untold is taking place September 9th to 12th, hosting Jamie Jones, Amelie Lens, Rhadoo and Raresh.

    Thursday, August 5th

    Copenhagen

    • New festival Karussel has added 25 acts to its lineup ahead of the event on August 26th. Anastasia Kristensen, Paramida and Superpitcher are among the new names joining Charlotte de Witte, Hunee, Job Jobse and Mall Grab.

    Kyiv

    • Cinthie, Marco Shuttle and Roza Terenzi play at a secret forest location 30km outside of Kyiv for the 2021 edition of Rhythm Büro, which takes places this Saturday.

    Berlin

    • Industrial techno veteran and Sonic Groove founder Adam X celebrates his 50th Birthday at Suicide Club on August 15th, with Henning Baer, Wittes, MAEDON and a special guest billed.

    Thursday, July 29th

    Chania

    • Greek festival Nature Loves Courage has announced artists including Juliana Huxtable, DJ Diaki and festival founder Abyss X for its second edition at Sougia Bay on October 8th.

    Tuesday, July 27th

    Barcelona

    • Boiler Room Festival is going to Barcelona. As part of an event series that includes London and New York, the broadcasting platform will host a two-day party at the Spanish city's iconic club, Nitsa, from November 26th to 27th. Featured artists include OK Williams, Octo Octa, Crystallmess, Slikback, Saoirse as well as several emerging talents.

    Braga

    • Flora Yin-Wong, Laurel Halo & Oliver Coates and Rabih Beaini are among the acts billed for Semibreve, an electronic music and digital art festival taking place in a theatre in Braga, Portugal.

    Monday, July 26th

    Eupen

    • Due to severe flooding, as well as the pressures promoters face throwing events during the pandemic, Meakusma has cancelled its 2021 festival. The organisers say "the strength and scope of the floods and the resulting havoc have never been seen here in our region. Also, the long-term consequences of this natural disaster are still highly unclear... All this, combined with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, has left us with no choice but to cancel the Meakusma Festival."

    Bergheider See

    Akasha Festival has moved location and announced its lineup. Now taking place by Bergheider lake, near to Berlin, the three-day festival will host Bell Towers, Gigola, Vale Budino. D.Tiffany, Roi Perez and many more.

    Thursday, July 22nd

    Viana do Castelo

    • Neopop has cancelled its 2021 festival, postponing until August 10th, 2022.

    Poti

    • A new festival, Swing, is launching in western Georgia. As well as many local acts, it has booked international guests like Edward, DVS1 and Evan Baggs for the three-day, lakeside event.

    Offenbach

    • Frankfurt radio station, EOS, are taking their activities into the physical realm with a festival in Offenbach. Over two days, beginning Friday, August 20th, Laurel Halo, Lena Willikens, upsammy and O-Wells will play.

    Wednesday, July 21st

    Berlin

    • Tommi Grönlund and Rikke Lundgreen's Museum Of Sound listening series comes to Berlin with support from SVN, Sex Tags and Audio-In Used Record Store. From July 22nd to 24th, DJ Sotofett will present his take on techno in Audio Inn's new basement space, while the 25th to the 27th will see a listening environment by Mika Vainio installed at Neues Deutschland.

    Thursday, July 15th

    Tisno

    Dimensions has announced the stage takeovers for its 2021 festival edition. This year's hosts include Butter Side Up, Casa Voyager, Dr Banana, Freeroration and more. Barbarella's Discotheque will be holding the after parties with slots for Zip, Batu and Helena Hauff.

    Wednesday, July 14th

    Lyon

    • Le Sucre, which opened last Friday, has announced a busy summer schedule, with Nuits Sonores shows followed by appearances from the likes of Raphaël Top-Secret, Ivan Smagghe and Low Jack.

    Kraków

    • Unsound has revealed the first names for its flagship event in October, with slots for LSDXOXO (who will play live), Danny L. Harle, AceMoMa, Shackleton & Zimpel and RP Boo, who will go back-to-back with SHERELLE. This year's theme is "dəəp authentic."

    Tuesday, July 13th

    Kyiv

    • Run by the team behind popular club Closer, Brave! Factory Festival is back for 2021, taking over a TBA venue in late August. Highlights include live sets from dBridge, Galaxian and 808 State.

    Berlin

    • As well as reopening its garden last weekend, Berghain has announced its first midweek event, Hangout, with live sets from Oren Ambarchi, Konrad Sprenger and Phillip Sollmann (AKA Efdemin).

    Essen

    • On July 17th, Essen promoter The Third Room returns with an open air at UNESCO World Heritage site Zollverein, with Blawan, Nene H, SPFDJ, Markus Suckut and Dax J.

    Friday, July 9th

    Amsterdam

    • Dekmantel announced they will be postponing the 2021 festival to 2022 after the Dutch government reversed its policy of allowing outdoor events following a "sharp rise" in Covid-19 cases. See their full statement on Instagram, where they also promise to present new options for ticketholders by next week.

    Zrce

    • Following the recent postponement of Sonus 2021, the team has now confirmed next year's lineup, with slots for Dixon, IMOGEN, Paula Temple and more.

    Wednesday, July 7th

    Tolmin

    • The Rabih Beaini-curated Sajeta Festival takes place this week in Tolmin, Slovenia, presenting a wide range of music and art over the five days.

    Tuesday, July 6th

    Saint-Etienne

    • Positive Education Festival returns to Saint-Etienne's cavernous Quartier Manufacture in November with a lineup spanning the likes of Azu Tiwaline, LSDXOXO and Eris Drew & Octo Octa.

    Crans-Montana

    • The lineup for Caprices Festival's two weekend edition is now complete. The Swiss promoter has added Zendid, Cinthie, Steve Rachmad, Ben Klock and many more.

    Thursday, July 1st

    Berlin

    CTM Festival will complete its 2021 edition in September, showcasing the works which could not be exhibited in January due to the pandemic. Between September 3rd and 12th, four in-person events, across various venues, welcome the likes of Soundwalk Collective, Jessica Ekomane, AtomTM and Lyra Pramuk.

    Val D'Ossola

    Nextones, a week-long festival of nature, music, research and audiovisual arts, has announced its lineup. Beginning July 27th, the event welcomes Caterina Barbieri, Nkisi, Bendik Giske, Pantha Du Prince and more.

    Tuesday, June 29th

    Warsaw

    • The second edition of Unsound's Ephemera Festival is planned for August 26th through 29th. Acts including KMRU, MC YALLAH, Dis Fig, Perila and Loraine James will perform across multiple venues.

    Thursday, June 24th

    Tisno

    • Dekmantel has released the lineup for its sister festival, Selectors, in Tisno, Croatia. Prioritising a certain kind of crate-digging DJ, the lineup includes DJ Paulette, Antal, Hunee and Sassy J.

    Wednesday, June 23rd

    Mannheim

    • Time Warp will not happen in 2021. The next flagship edition of the house and techno giant will take place on April 2nd, 2022, with a Brazilian spin-off planned in May.

    Lyon

    • Following the loosening of event restrictions in France, Nuits Sonores has extended its opening hours and added extra artists to play shows with dancing permitted. The new names include Jennifer Cardini, Bambounou and Laurent Garnier.

    Amsterdam

    • Amsterdam's circus-themed venue Thuishaven has announced a string of parties running from July 3rd until September 19th. Among the DJs billed are Palms Trax and Amelie Lens, as well as ten-hour sets from Benny Rodrigues and Sandrien.

    • Inner State, the new Albanian festival from the team behind Kala, will not take place in 2021 due to the unpredictability around travel restrictions. Read the full statement.

    Vilvoorde

    Horst Arts & Music festival has completed the lineup for its 2021 edition, adding Circle Of Live, Deborah X, India Jordan, Donato Dozzy, Sicaria Sound and many more.

    Zwevegem

    • Taking place on the 7th and 8th of August, Voltage festival's techno-heavy bill features British Murder Boys, Ellen Allien, Peter Van Hoesen and SPFDJ.

    Tuesday, June 15th

    Werneuchen

    • Germany's Aware Festival extends to four days for its 2021 edition, which is scheduled to run from August 19th through 22nd in Werneuchen. Artists on the lineup include DJ Stingray, Sedef Adasi, Virginia and Toulouse Low Trax.

    Friday, June 11th

    Pag Island

    • Croatian festival Sonus has pushed this year's event back to August 2022. The lineup is still TBA.

    Thursday, June 10th

    Milan

    • Milan promoter Take It Easy has announced a run of three dates at Circolo Magnolia, under the banner Humans. The first date welcomes Lorenzo Senni, the second Jeff Mills (who will score Fritz Lang's Metropolis live) and the third a surprise guest.

    Vilvoorde

    • Horst Arts & Music festival has opened an exhibition at Asiat, Vilvoorde. Kiosk Radio will provide the music, and there will be artist talks, dance performances, panel discussions and more.

    Berlin

    • After eight months, the Studio Berlin exhibition is returning to Berghain on June 18th. Check out the featured artists and book guided tours or open house sessions here.

    Paris

    Peacock Society has announced the lineup for its September 4th and 5th open air. Folamour, Voiski, Marina Trench, Antigone and Azu Tiwaline will all play.

    Tuesday, June 8th

    Berlin

    • UK promoter Terminal V is heading to Berlin with a three-day festival at Funkhaus in February 2022. The first round of acts includes Octave One, Matrixxman, Nur Jaber and Paula Temple.

    Ostrov

    Ostrov Festival is taking place in Kyiv this week, with the likes of Bjarki, Sonja Moonear, Etapp Kyle and Magda confirmed to play.

    Monday, June 7th

    Berlin

    • Afro party starters Freak de l'Afrique announce their two-day festival, AYO City, taking place at Haubentaucher on July 10th and 11th.

    Saint Petersburg

    • Russia's Gamma Festival reveals the first half of its lineup for July 9th through 11th, which includes Dasha Rush, Dax J and Ancient Methods, as well as a showcase from m_division.

    Beervelde

    Paradise Down By The Lake adds five new dates to its month-long festival program running throughout July. The extra dates add Move D, Valentino Mora and Paquita Gordon to the bill.

    Mayrhofen

    • Snowbombing has revealed the dates and lineup for its 2022 festival, with slots for the likes of Sam Divine, Rudimental and headliners Bicep.

    Thursday, June 3rd

    Eupen

    Meakusma has announced its three-day festival for early September. Performers include Sarah Davachi, Pessimist, Phuong Dan and Tribe Of Colin.

    Tilburg

    Draaimolen Festival has announced the full lineup for its ten-day edition in 2021, which begins September 8th. Dasha Rush, Djrum, Nene H, Blawan, Mama Snake and Konduku (who will go back-to-back with Bambounou) are among the 57 artists billed.

    Wednesday, June 2nd

    Utrecht

    • Running from November 11th through 14th, Le Guess Who? 2021 has confirmed this year's guest curators, with slots for Midori Takada, Lucrecia Dalt and John Dwyer. Check the lineup so far.

    Tuesday, June 1st

    Lyon

    • Nuits Sonores has announced a "special edition" of its flagship festival, scheduled from July 20th through 25th. Acts include Jeff Mills & Jean-Phi Dary, Pantha Du Prince and around 50 local artists and multi-displinary art projects.

    Milan

    • Donato Dozzy and Eva Geist will perform their collaborative album, Il Quadra Di Troisi, live at the Terraforma festival site, Villa Arconati, on July 3rd.

    Berlin
