The September event will focus on wellbeing practices and host the likes of Greentea Peng, Leon Vynehall and Bradley Zero.
The organisers behind Albanian festival Kala are launching Inner State, a wellbeing-focused festival at the same site in September.
Running from September 15th through 22nd in Dhërmi, Inner State 2021 will include events in the mountains and along the coast. The first edition boasts three open-air stages with live music and DJ sets, plus talks on yoga, pilates, lucid dreaming, qi gong, diving, boxing and more.
Lineup highlights include UK rapper Loyle Carner, psychedelic R&B singer Greentea Peng, Love Minus Zero (AKA Tiga & Hudson Mohawke), Leon Vynehall, Mafalda, Erol Alkan, Benji B, Bradley Zero, Helen Star and Colleen "Cosmo" Murphy.
"We sense this is a great time to launch Inner State," says creative director Dan Blackledge. "A new festival exploring a whole system approach to wellbeing and connection. Through music, movement, talks, and travel, we aim to create a roadmap to feel-good states."
Mainstage Festivals started Kala, billed as Albania's first international music festival, in 2018. The 2021 edition was pushed back from June to September, owing to the country's vaccine rollout plan, and will take place from September 1st through 8th.
