  • De School has revealed its plans for another 62-hour party during Amsterdam Dance Event next month. Once again, the De School team will keep their ADE party going from Friday night on October 19th through the Monday morning of October 22nd in the former school building. Throughout the weekend, local acts will perform alongside more established artists, starting with Courtesy and Batu taking the lead on Friday with locals Lyzza and Carista. Saturday will see DJ sets from JASSS—subject of a recent RA feature—and others. Sunday, residents Job Jobse, Oceanic and Breaking Through artist Upsammy share the lineup with Marcel Dettmann, Leif and Eris Drew. There will also be several live performances throughout the weekend. On Saturday, SKY H1 will play in the club's separate exhibition space, De Aula. Octo Octa and Nadia Struiwigh are also booked to perform live over ADE weekend. In addition to the music, De School will run an art progamme curated by their in-house team, Children Of The Light. Outside artists, such as Joris Strijbos and Nicky Assmann, Gosse de Kort and Nieke Koek, Matthijs Munnik and Karolina Halatek have been invited for installations, and students from Amsterdam's Sandberg Institute will be giving performances and art interventions. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 6th, on RA.
