- The Amsterdam promoter has posted a video that reveals its full programme for this year's edition.

Dekmantel Festival 2018 will take place in Amsterdam from August 1st through 5th.
After a series of slow-drip video announcements, the festival has laid bare its full programme for its sixth edition in a five-minute video. (Watch it below.)
Four Tet and Tangerine Dream are among the acts playing the opening night concert on Wednesday, August 1st. Other key bookings include Orbital, Ricardo Villalobos, Thundercat, Modeselektor, Terry Riley, Helena Hauff, Shackleton, Rødhåd, Lena Willikens, Daphni, Donato Dozzy, Mark Ernestus, Xosar, Sassy J, James Holden & The Animal Spirits, Tolouse Low Trax, Alessandro Cortini, John Talabot, Veronica Vasicka, Mariel Ito (AKA Maceo Plex), Stanislav Tolkachev, Gesloten Cirkel, DJ Stingray, Yves Tumor, Jamie xx, Yasuaki Shimizu, Jah Shaka, Patrick Russell, Powder, Objekt, Source Direct & Special Request, Carl Craig (presenting his Versus Synthesizer Ensemble), Detroit In Effect, Insanlar, Dâm-Funk, Mafalda, Tim Hecker and Karen Gwyer. The festival will happen at Amsterdamse Bos and at various spots around the IJ-river. A second, smaller UFO stage will be added to the daytime festival site. (The main UFO stage traditionally has a techno focus.)
