The roster includes Bake, Nightwave and Bonzai Bonner's LEZZER QUEST party.
Glasgow club La Cheetah has revealed a new roster of residents.
After being closed for so long, programmer Grahame Ward shared that the team has used the time to reset their processes, pushing the button to focus more on local talent. Saturdays are now in-house, with the dates distributed between local artists that La Cheetah trusts.
"It's a diverse bunch of talented DJs, producers and artists who'll get the opportunity to have the floor to themselves when they want to," says Ward. "Or they can invite other local artists they consider to be integral to their musical ethos, to join them whenever they see fit."
Long-time friends of La Cheetah, Wardy & Dom D'Sylva, Nightwave and disco party Elisco will all bring their respective parties back on Saturday nights. New additions include Ribeka and Sofay's Ilex parties, Bake's party Ceylon!, Anna Gram and Bonzai Bonner's LGBTQ+ party LEZZER QUEST, Junglehussi's Papaya Whip night, KILIMANJARO and Natalie's ENVY Music party.
Beyond Glasgow locals, La Cheetah will also welcome Palms Trax, Job Jobse, Helena Hauff and DJ Stingray to play in the coming months.
From September onwards, the club will be open five days a week, with midweek nights being offered to young promoters wanting to cut their teeth. Friday nights will host promoters who have worked with La Cheetah for a long time.
