- Plan your visit for the festival's 20th anniversary.
MUTEK Montréal has unveiled its timetable.
For its extended 20th anniversary, which runs from August 20th through 25th, the festival will showcase over 90 performances and 30 installations from artists around the globe. Now the complete programming schedule for the week is available through MUTEK's website.
Alongside previously announced musical performances such as Blawan, GAIKA, Overmono and Deena Abdelwahed, this year's MUTEK will exhibit the ISM Hexadome, a 360° audiovisual installation from The Institute for Sound and Music Berlin.
MUTEK has also announced a free way to take part in the festivities. From Wednesday, August 21st, until Sunday, August 25th, the Expérience series will host free performances at L'esplanade de la Place des Arts, including sets by Nicola Cruz, John Tejada and RAMZi as DJ FATi.
On Thursday, August 22nd, RA will also a host showcase with Gudrun Gut, Jan Jelinek and Jonathan Scherk & Daniel Majer. Listen back to the sets from our showcase last year, featuring Christian Carrière, Electric Indigo and T. Gowdy.
