  • MUTEK have shared a second wave of artist bookings for the 20th anniversary of their Montreal festival. The festival, which expands from five to six days for this edition, put out a call for proposals from Canadian live acts this year, and their second-wave lineup is heavy on domestic talent. D. Tiffany, Dust-E-1, Khotin, Slim Media Player and Tim Hecker with the Konoyo Ensemble are among the Canadian contingent. They've also got Drew McDowall and Florence To, who will be performing the 1998 Coil album, Time Machines, as well as Matmos, Overmono, Domenique Dumont, Deena Abdelwahed and Rashad Becker with Ena. The first round of artist announcements included Blawan, GAIKA, Nkisi, Call Super and Rrose, who will team up with Lucy as The Lotus Eaters. See the full lineup thus far.
