- The four-day conference and festival will once again sweep more than 40 of Berlin's clubs from October 31st through November 1st.
Full details have been revealed for BerMuDa 2012, taking place across Berlin from October 31st through November 3rd.
This year's conference follows the same basic format as previous years, with a sprawling combination of daytime industry events and club parties at night, culminating in FLY BerMuDa, a one-night festival at the historic Tempelhof Airport. The daytime events are split into a few different categories. BerMuDa Lab will feature panels on various aspects of current club culture, from door policy to the all-important GEMA issue, while DE:BUG Music Tech Days will cover the technical side of DJing and production. There will also be an IN-EDIT film festival, a vinyl flea market at Gretchen and a fashion bazaar at Watergate.
As for the nighttime portion, more than 40 Berlin clubs will host showcases by over 40 different promoters and record labels. Highlights include a Clone night at Tresor (Legowelt, Serge, Mike Dehnert), Cocoon Heroes going head-to-head with 100% Pure at Watergate (2000 and One, Markus Fix, Tobi Neumann) and the Watergate X release party featuring Catz 'N Dogz, Mike Shannon and Subb-an among others. Meanwhile, a grip of artists have been added to the Beatport stage at FLY BerMuDa, namely Photek, Pinch, Hrdvsion, DeWalta, Clockwork and Wankelmut. They join previously announced acts like Luciano, Magda, Sven Väth and Pan-Pot. Head over to BerMuDa's official website for the rest of the details.
