Axel Boman unveils first solo album in nearly a decade, LUZ/Quest For Fire

- A new Axel Boman album is on the way. LUZ/Quest For Fire, due April 15th via the Stockholm-based artist's own Studio Barnhus imprint, spans 18 tracks across two separate albums. It will be released digitally as well as on triple-vinyl. Featured guests include the likes of Baba Stiltz, Studio Barnhus artist Bella Boo, Off The Meds frontman Kamohelo Khoaripe and saxophonist Kristian Harborg. LUZ/Quest For Fire is Boman's first solo album since his 2013 debut LP, Family Vacation. It follows the 2020 single Eyes Of My Mind and 2019's double 12-inch, Le New Life. Boman, an affiliate of DJ Koze's Pampa Records label, is also one-half of production duos Man Tear with Petter Nordkvist and Talaboman, where he works alongside John Talabot. To celebrate the launch of LUZ/Quest For Fire, Boman, Bella Boo and Tim Sweeney will play New York's public records on April 6th. Check the event page below for more information.
