  • Axel Boman will release a double 12-inch called Le New Life on Mule Musiq in September. It's the Studio Barnhus cofounder's first solo release since 2017, the year he also pressed up an album with John Talabot as Talaboman. The double-pack from the Swedish producer rounds out a series of 12 EPs marking the Mule Musiq's 15th anniversary. Toshiya Kawasaki's perpetually busy imprint will also put out an EP from Freestyle Man, Schrödinger's Love, on its Endless Flight sub-label in September. That one features Freestyle Man's regular collaborator Jimi Tenor. The Finnish duo, who have also appeared on Studio Barnhus, just put out a downtempo track via SUOL.
