A launch date for the digital token has yet to be confirmed.
Jacques Greene has announced a new 12-inch called Fantasy on UK label LuckyMe.
An NFT release is in the pipeline, with more details expected in the coming days. Digital downloads and streaming arrive on January 28th while a vinyl version is due on April 8th.
The five-track EP combines downtempo, trip-hop and ambient influences with a cameo from Satomimagae. In a press statement, Greene described how the work helped him overcome feelings of anxiety and loneliness. "This record was born out of weeks of willing a form of peace and inspiration into my surroundings," he wrote.
Fantasy marks the Toronto-based producer's latest foray into the NFT world. Last year, he sold the publishing rights to his single, "Promise," as an NFT on cryptocurrency marketplace Foundation.
Fantasy follows the single "Leave Here" from late last year and a retrospective LP, ANTH01, that came out this past October. For more on Greene, revisit Resident Advisor's 2021 podcast with the Montreal-born act.
