Octo Octa and Eris Drew have shared a free guide for DJs called Octo Octa & Eris Drew's Hot N' Ready DJ Tips Version 1.
"One of our favorite aspects of touring is conducting workshops and mentor sessions with other DJs," the artists write in the guide's introduction. "It is wonderful to share information with other artists and to feel that our knowledge can be of use to others ... We prepared these Hot N' Ready DJ Tips, Tricks, & Techniques for beginners and advanced DJs alike."
Across 16 pages, the guide goes over methods and techniques, from building a collection and selecting tracks, to sound-checking and negotiating fees.
