Sherelle and Naina's imprint, Hooversound Recordings, is debuting with a split EP.
The first record on the label is a collaborative project from Hyroglifics and Sinistarr, BS6. The four-track EP comprises a variety of influences, spanning from jungle, footwork, techno to gqom. Scratcha DVA also makes an appearance on the EP with a remix of the record's opener.
Hooversound was officially founded last August by London-based DJs Sherelle and Naina, who made a call for submissions with the announcement.
Sinistarr is a Detroit producer, with recent EP releases including 2019's Everything On Time via Defrostatica and Swinging Flavors #6 on Beat Machine Records the year prior. UK's Hyroglifics had a prolific year in 2019, releasing two EPs, Cash Out and Stone Rose on Critical Music.
