- The Detroit crew's spring schedule includes three events during Movement weekend.
Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions have announced details of a new record series that launches in late May, when the label and events crew return to Tangent Gallery for three parties, including the popular No Way Back all-nighter, during Movement festival weekend.
The IT label's Acid Series is inspired by No Way Back, which celebrates its ten-year anniversary this year. The project kicks off with LA producer Jasen Loveland's debut release, while Justin Cudmore is in charge of the second volume. Efforts from Tin Man & Ectomorph (IT bosses BMG and Erika), BMG & Derek Plaslaiko, Jordan Zawideh, Dona and Romans (Tin Man and Gunnar Haslam) are all in the pipeline for future releases.
Acid Series Vol 1 and Vol 2 will be available at all three Movement-weekend IT parties at Tangent Gallery, which are grouped under the name 313: Return To The Source. First, the night of Saturday the 27th sees IT partnering with Tresor. This year, they'll present the world premiere of Terrence Dixon's collaboration with Flowing (AKA Thomas Fehlmann) along with Silent Servant, Ron Morelli and Orphx's Christina Sealey.
The next night, No Way Back will have extended hours (from 11 PM to noon on Monday) and sets from BMG, Erika, Derek Plaslaiko, Patrick Russell and Outer Space. Finally, on Monday, the weekend wraps up with The Bunker New York. Hot Mix, the trio of Mike Servito, Cudmore and Haslam are confirmed for that one, together with Antenes, Eris Drew and Israel Vines.
