- Bicep, Marcel Dettmann and Denis Sulta will also play the third edition of the Belfast event in June.
Belfast's AVA Festival has revealed the first round of names playing in 2017.
The event will return to T13 in the city's Titanic Quarter, expanding from one to two days (June 2nd and 3rd). For the first time in Ireland, Jeff Mills will present Close Encounters Of The Fourth Kind, an audiovisual show produced in collaboration with lightning designer Guillaume Marmin. There will be DJ sets from Bicep, Ben UFO, Midland, Marcel Dettmann, Denis Sulta, Job Jobse, Or:La, Hammer, Ejeca and Saoirse, as well as live performances from Fatima Yamaha and Tinfoil, AKA Sunil Sharpe and DeFeKT. Birmingham's Rebekah will play using a hybrid live/DJ setup. More names will be added in the coming months.
Like last year, there will also be a conference element to the weekend. AVA will host a series of workshops and talks, as well as competitions for aspiring DJs and producers. The lineup for the conference is still TBA, though you can expect a mix of artists and industry professionals.
