- The UK festival has released the full lineup for its designated dance music stages.
Glastonbury Festival has announced a raft of electronic acts playing in 2016.
Since taking over from the Dance Village in 2013, Silver Hayes has been the festival giant's designated dance music area, encompassing six tents and stages. These include Sonic, The Blues, The Gully and Wow!, which is booked by Team Love's Tom Paine and Dave Harvey. This year's wide-ranging lineup has been revealed all in one go, with confirmed slots for DJ Premier, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Annie Mac, Craig David's TS5, Kurupt FM, Danny L. Harle, Levelz, Section Boyz, Novelist, Kano, Ivy Lab and Oneman. House and techno fans can look forward to Maceo Plex, Bicep, Bob Moses, Eats Everything, Addison Groove, A Sagittariun, Fatima Yamaha, Maribou State, Red Axes, Will Saul, Kowton, Palms Trax, PBR Streetgang and Julio Bashmore. For the full list of names, head to Silver Hayes' official page.
These acts join the likes of LCD Soundsystem, James Blake, Disclosure, Carl Cox, New Order and Floating Points, who were part of the festival's first announcement at the end of March. More names, including the artists playing Block9's NYC Downlow, Genosys and London Underground stages, will be added in the coming weeks.
Glastonbury 2016 will run from Wednesday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 26th at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
