Speedy J will return to Detroit during Movement weekend to headline a Sunday night afterparty on May 29th.
No Party Like A Detroit Party, hosted by Army of Techno and Underground Mafia, will take place across three rooms at Bert's Warehouse Theater and run from 9 PM to 6 AM. Along with Electric Deluxe boss Speedy J, Plus 8 co-founder John Acquaviva and LA's Sublevel chief Doc Martin will hit the decks, and a couple of the Motor City's best-regarded live acts are confirmed: Octave One and Terrence Dixon. Other highlights on the lineup include K-Hand, Tim Baker, Asher Perkins and Detroit Techno Militia. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local charities.
