Regis, Rashad Becker and Laurel Halo will all perform at the two-week showcase this June.
Bill Kouligas's PAN label has teamed up with ISSUE Project Room and the Goethe-Institut to host a festival called PAN_ACT in New York.
The event will run from June 14th through 29th. Curated by Kouligas and ISSUE Project Room's Lawrence Kumpf, it promises explore "the intersections of conceptual art in underground dance and experimental music" through a series of performances, talks, and installations.
Highlights include a show at ISSUE Project Room on Thursday, June 20th, featuring Dubplates & Mastering's Rashad Becker and PAN regular Mark Fell. The following night Eli Keszler will hold a free installation at a TBA venue, while on June 21st a party, held in collaboration with The Bunker, sees Regis, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Laurel Halo, Lee Gamble and Kouligas all perform. The day of Saturday, June 22nd will be given over to a series of one-hour talks at the Goethe-Institut from the likes of Steven Warwick (AKA Heatsick) and Thomas Brinkmann. Later that evening, RA will host an event at ISSUE Project Room with Ben Vida, Helm and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma.
Kezler will be joined by Ashley Paul and Jar Moff for another show at ISSUE Project Room on Friday, June 28th. On the 29th, PAN_ACT will appear at MoMAs PS1's Warm Up series, with Gamble, Heatsick and NHK'Koyxen all confirmed. There will also be two showcases in Boston courtesy of Non-Event: one on June 20th with Whitman, Gamble and Heatsick, and another on June 23rd with Rashad Becker and Helm.
