  • Bay Area promoter Parameter is returning after a five-year hiatus. Taking place on Saturday, May 11th, at Public Works, Parameter's first party back will feature music from British Murder Boys, dBridge, Kia, Luke Vibert, mothbot, re:ni, Shed, Skee Mask, Wonja and a back-to-back from Tim Reaper and Dwarde. "We'd been considering making a return but wanted to make sure our first show back would be really compelling" the promoter told Resident Advisor. "Skee Mask was scheduled to make his US debut at our two-year anniversary in 2016, but it didn't pan out. His agent approached us about hosting him this May and we knew it'd be the perfect opportunity for a return show. Fortunately, we were also able to line up some other artists we'd always wanted to book and put together a really special two-room lineup." Looking ahead to September, Parameter will also collaborate with fellow San Francisco party SQUISH on Friday the 20th, hosting Objekt, Identified Patient and more TBA. Founded in 2014, Parameter ran until 2019, giving San Francisco debuts to the likes of DJ EZ, Randomer, Overmono, Clouds, Danielle, Zenker Brothers, Batu, Bake, DJ Haram and Peverelist.
