MUTEK Montréal announces first names for 2024

- Ciel, Factory Floor, Kode9 and Octo Octa are set to perform this summer.
- Montréal festival MUTEK has unveiled the first phase of this year's lineup. Running from August 20th through 25th, MUTEK will celebrate its 25-year anniversary in the Canadian city's cultural district Quartier Des Spectacles. Among the first DJs announced are Ayesha, Bored Lord, Ciel, TATI AU MIEL. There will also be live performances by Octo Octa, Ela Minus, Factory Floor, Roman Flügel and Waajeed. Known for its immersive experiences, MUTEK will host audiovisual sets from the likes of Kode9, Evian Christ, Aïsha Devi, Amnesia Scanner back-to-back Freeka Tet and Myriam Bleau back-to-back Nien Tzu Weng. Alongside the music, the festival will run the tenth edition of MUTEK Forum. Artists, academics and experts will present four days of keynotes, panels, workshops, classes and film screenings.
