Hamburg club PAL has postponed plans to reopen at a new venue next month.
The club broke the news on Instagram yesterday, February 26th. "We have to abandon our plans for Congressplatz 2 for the time being," the post read. "This is due to a number of obstacles that cannot be overcome so quickly, and unfortunately our opening in March has been cancelled."
Earlier this month, PAL announced that it was moving to the new venue, a 600-capacity space next to the Radisson Blu hotel and Dammtor train station. Tickets for the launch party, which was due to take place on March 7th, are being refunded.
PAL left its original premises after nine years at the start of the year. "Our original idea of an ideal club can no longer be realised at the current location in the future for various reasons," the club said in a statement.
