  • Sheffield's No Bounds Festival has cancelled its 2023 edition. In a statement shared with Resident Advisor, the festival's creative director, Liam O'Shea, said the last 12 months have been "extremely challenging" for No Bounds. He cited the cost-of-living crisis, spiralling production costs and barriers to funding as contributing factors to the cancellation. "We've come to the very difficult decision that in order for No Bounds to survive as a festival, to stay true to our artistic vision and to continue to be able to support our wonderful No Bounds community, we must wait until 2024 before we deliver the next full edition," he wrote. "We know many of you will be sad to hear this news, and for those who already bought 2023 festival early birds we're especially sorry." In place of the festival, No Bounds has organised a scaled-down weekender, taking place at Hope Works on October 13th and 14th. Among the performers are Bruce, Manami, De Schuurman and Bluetoof, who will go back-to-back with Stenny. There's also an Off Me Nut Records showcase. Browse the event listing below.
