  • Polyend, which makes portable tracker devices, has launched a record label. The vinyl-only imprint will release music exclusively made on Polyend's hardware. The Polish company has previously put out a handful of releases that were only available if you bought limited edition versions of its gear, including EPs by Legowelt, Bogdan Raczynski and Pete Cannon. These records will now get a full release, along with new music from other artists using Polyend's Play and Tracker Mini, hardware devices that emulate the tracker sequencing software developed in the late '80s for the Amiga home computer. "We plan to continue to release small batches of records from people using our devices and artists we are fans of," Mitch Lantz, from Polyend, told Resident Advisor. "We'll start taking submissions for future records in the next few months." The first two releases are Cellular Spaces by Qebo and Future Cake by Isobutane. Listen to "Wireframe Chase" by Qebo.
