  • Polyend is releasing a shrunk-down version of its popular Tracker device. The Tracker Mini is a sampler, synth and sequencer that uses an unusual workflow originally developed in the '90s for Commodore Amiga computers and popularised by artists such as The Prodigy, Aphex Twin and Venetian Snares. Tracks are built up in long sequences of short samples that can be individually modulated and treated like discrete instruments. Polish company Polyend released its original Tracker device in 2020. The Tracker Mini adds a number of updates, including four times the sampling capacity, stereo sampling, a built-in mic, audio over USB and an internal battery, so you can use it anywhere. The Polyend Tracker Mini can also be used to control other pieces of hardware over MIDI and has a number of digital synth engines built in. It's packed into a small, light device that's designed to be used with both hands like a Gameboy. Watch a demo of the Polyend Tracker Mini.
The Polyend Tracker Mini is available to pre-order now, priced €699 or $699. First deliveries are expected in July 2023.
