Lyon festival Nuits Sonores reveals Lab programme for 2023

The 20th anniversary edition takes place from May 17th through 21st.
Nuits Sonores has announced the Lab programme for its 20th anniversary edition next month. The Nuits Sonores Lab is set to take place across four venues—HEAT, Hôtel71, Le Labo of HEAT and H7—and will consist of a series of meetings, interviews, workshops, panels, conferences, radio broadcasts, artistic performances, training sessions, masterclasses and speeches. Highlights include a Resident Advisor-backed journalism workshop hosted by RA contributor Christine Kakaire; a panel discussing how the Ukrainian cultural scene has supported the war effort; and an RA Exchange with Nastia. There's also a career development talk with Jennifer Cardini, a community radio workshop with Refuge Worldwide and a discussion on how renewable energy can power the scene. Nuits Sonores has already announced around 150 performers for 2023, including Avalon Emerson, Animistic Beliefs, Blawan and LSDXOXO. The festival takes place from May 17th through 21st.
