  • Daft Punk are releasing a new version of Random Access Memories for the album's tenth anniversary in May. The new set comes in triple-LP and double-CD formats (along with digital), and includes nine unreleased tracks totaling 35 minutes. Among the bonus material are alternate versions of "Get Lucky," "Lose Yourself To Dance" and "Give Life Back To Music," unfinished demos and other behind-the-scenes recordings. There's also the 2021 version of "Touch" used in the duo's farewell video. The French duo of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced their split two years ago. Since then, they put out a 25th anniversary edition of their debut album Homework, plus a reissue of their live record Alive '97. Last month, Bangalter shared details of a solo orchestral album called Mythologies. For more on Random Access Memories, read our review from 2013 here. Watch the trailer for the new release.
