  • Beloved New York queer party The Carry Nation is celebrating its tenth birthday later this month. Taking place at Good Room across November 18th, 19th and 20th, the weekender features a stacked lineup of friends and contemporaries, including Eli Escobar, Josh Caffé, Hannah Holland, Bearcat, Jubilee, Sybil Jason, Turtle Bugg and The Carry Nation founders Nita Aviance and Will Automagic. "Over the last ten years, The Carry Nation has explored and presented, in true New York fashion, a uniquely combined variety of sounds, tempos and genres, with the common theme being connection and emotion on the dance floor," Will Automagic told Resident Advisor. "The ten years have flown by, yet also feel like a lifetime with many eras. If you want to talk about what holds something together over time, for us, it's all about the dancers: the real nation that carries. He added: "Our crowd has grown slowly and evolved naturally, starting with friends and family we've been playing for over decades. And the DJ crew of guests continues to grow in a thrilling way." Find the full anniversary lineup and more details in the event listing below. Revisit The Carry Nation's RA Podcast from January 2020.
