- Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes is out via Conspiracy International in September.
English musician and writer Cosey Fanni Tutti is releasing a new full-length.
Arriving September 16th on digital, CD and vinyl via her Conspiracy International label, the LP features Tutti's original soundtrack for Caroline Catz's BBC Four docudrama, Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes.
"The compositions are inspired by my research of the Delia Derbyshire audio archive, Delia's original compositional notes and techniques, which in combination with my admiration and love of Delia’s work, provided a way to integrate her style and approach to music with my own," said Tutti. "An alliance of our sensibilities."
The LP is Tutti's first full-length since 2019's TUTTI, her first solo LP in 36 years. It also follows Tutti's forthcoming book, RE-SISTERS: The Lives and Recordings of Delia Derbyshire, Margery Kempe and Cosey Fanni Tutti, due out via Faber on August 18th.
