Featuring CCL, Hiro Kone and more, the event will take place on March 31st and April 1st.
This year's Exist Festival will be held at PTX in Athens.
Running across March 31st and April 1st, the 2022 edition will be the first to take place since the Palestinian festival launched in 2019. The lineup includes CCL, Drew McDowall, Hiro Kone, Morah, Jay Glass Dubs, Zoe Mc Pherson and Ciarra Black (AKA Carbon 96), festival founder Odai Masri, Nadeem Ghareeb and Kujo.
As well as the music, there will be a programme of screenings, installation and panel talks in collaboration with Athens-based station Movement Radio.
Two weeks after the festival, Exist will launch a label with a limited-edition EP containing tracks by McDowall, Muqata'a, CASKO and Adel Poursamadi & Tegh. Pre-order Marks of Existencehere.
Open since December, PTX is a multi-level club and social space. Despite closing temporarily due to the pandemic, it has so far hosted acts like Lolsnake, Changsie, Nazar and Aïsha Devi. The venue is fitted with L'Acoustics soundsystems across four floors and will be opening a daytime café space in the coming weeks.
