- The second full-length since Edgar Froese's death is out in February.
A new Tangerine Dream album, Raum, is due out next year.
While producing the forthcoming LP, the German group had full access to the late Edgar Froese's archive spanning the years 1977 to 2013. The new project features compositions from members Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick, additionally drawing from Froese's Cubase arrangements and Otari tapes.
Raum will land on February 25th, 2022, via Kscope. That same month, the band will also embark on a UK tour, titled "From Virgin To The Quantum Years."
Just last month, Tangerine Dream released Probe 6-8, a record which also made use of Froese's old recordings and featured the track "Raum." Raum is the band's second album since Froese died in 2015.
