The twelve-track LP, Tread, was largely produced with the South London artist's self-built production software, Thresho, running. It automatically records everything a musician does in the studio, past a certain, customizable threshold, meaning nothing is ever lost. Ross From Friends will release bonus recordings generated by the software alongside the album. It's out October 22nd.
Tread is Ross From Friends' second full-length for Flying Lotus's label, following Family Portrait in 2018. He also released two EPs, Aphelion and Epiphany, for the same label.
