The Cause announces RAVE SAFE fundraiser for drug awareness and harm reduction

- The Cause has announced a fundraiser at the venue this Sunday, August 15th. Taking place from 1 PM to 11 PM, RAVE SAFE will raise money for The Loop, a leading drugs awareness and harm prevention organisation. On Saturday, July 31st, 21-year-old Bill passed away in hospital after a suspected drug overdose. The night prior, Bill had attended a party at the north London venue. Bill's family have started a fundraiser in his memory, which you can donate to here. In a statement on Facebook, The Cause says: "Sadly this is one of many incidents involving hospitalisation or death that has occurred in recent weeks since clubs have re-opened in the UK... We want to prevent further tragedies and we want to help educate and raise awareness as much as possible." While no lineup has yet been announced, The Cause has hosted fundraisers in the past with the likes of Shanti Celeste, Four Tet, Jamie xx, Machine Woman and more.
