- Three algorithms from the module company's Virt Iter oscillator are in the new firmware.
Module company Noise Engineering has contributed three oscillator algorithms to Arturia's new firmware for the MicroFreak synthesiser.
The Bass, SawX and Harm oscillator modes come from Noise Engineering's recently released Virt Iter module, and bring "additive harmonic color, wavefolding, phase modulation" to Arturia's compact synth. The new firmware also includes four-voice unison plus increased preset memory and functionality. MicroFreak owners can download it for free from Arturia's website.
