  • A new virtual events concept is launching in February 2021 called BBL CLB (pronounced "bubble club"). Run by experimental agency Hyperactive, BBL CLB is billed as a cross between immersive theatre and an illegal rave. Groups of paying participants, all connected remotely via Zoom, embark on a quest to find an illegal rave, encountering various situations and storylines along the way. Once the rave has been located, participants will access DJ sets from the likes of Altern-8, Sasha, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ragga Twins, Âme, Secretsundaze and Wookie, all streamed live and available only to participants. The sets will not be archived or shared on other platforms. "The BBL CLB is designed for those of us who miss the buzz of anticipation before a night out, the electricity and unity of the dance floor, those madcap moments with our mates and of course the appreciation of dance music in all its guises," says Andrew Casher, founder and CEO of Hyperactive. "For me, BBL CLB is about togetherness when we're socially distanced and about supporting UK club culture which is so important to so many people both socially and professionally." BBL CLB launches on February 11th, 2021, with Âme. Check out the full schedule, plus information on how to book, via the official website.
