Richie Hawtin curates 12-hour Higher Level party at The Brooklyn Mirage

- Richie Hawtin is taking over The Brooklyn Mirage at Avant Gardner for a 12-hour party on May 16th. The second edition of Higher Level features headliners Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte and Octave One (who will play a live set). Other acts include Matrixxman, Anastasia Kristensen ,Lauren Flax, Randomer, plus a back-to-back set from Matador and Gaiser, among other DJs. The first Higher Level—a series meant to showcase artists "at the top of their craft, as well as figures of "historical importance"—took place last year with a five-hour set from Pan-Pot. Hawtin put out his most recent album last fall—a live album combining sets from Glasgow, London and Tokyo. Watch the film version of Hawtin's CLOSE COMBINED.
