Laurel Halo's Possessed score is getting an official release.
The documentary by Dutch design studio Metahaven and Rob Schröder was released in 2018, and now The Vinyl Factory has compiled pieces from Laurel Halo's score for a 13-track LP. (The digital version has 12 tracks, leaving off the reprise of "Last Seen.") Galya Bisengalieva features on violin and Oliver Coates contributes cello and other string production on the score. It's out April 10th.
Laurel Halo recently featured in RA's decade retrospective, where her 2012 album Quarantine and 2017 DISCWOMAN 27 mix were named among our most definitive of the '10s.
