  • The New York Times has revealed Moby's connection to a whistleblower in an ongoing congressional investigation of President Donald Trump. According to the Times story from reporter David Enrich, Moby met Val Broeksmit, the son of late Deutsche Bank executive Bill Broeksmit, at a party in Los Angeles this year. Enrich says Moby introduced the younger Broeksmit to California representative Adam Schiff, who is leading an investigation into the relationship between Trump and Deutsche Bank. Broeksmit has been subpoenaed and has released info to the FBI, Congress and the federal reserve. Moby has been a vocal critic of Trump on social media since the reality TV star launched his presidential campaign and later won the 2016 presidential election. (Moby also recently recounted a 2001 event where he allegedly rubbed his penis on Trump.) This past May, he also released his second memoir. Read the New York Times story here.
