Demdike Stare have released a live recording from a church in Paris on April 26th, 2019.
Rendez-Vous Contemporains de Saint-Merry is a 50-minute recording of the duo's performance of all new material at a Latency event at the Église Saint-Merry. As usual, it comes on the UK duo's DDS label, and a Boomkat writeup describes the tape as "re-shaping strings, choral loops, ricocheting drums and sheets of metal into a gauzy fever dream referencing the musical heritage of Paris, from Editions Gravats to GRM, and the incredible space of Saint-Merry itself."
This tape follows hot on the heels of another site-specific piece, Berlin 09-03-2019, and is set to be part of a new series chronicling these events. Last year, the group also released a four-tape set of mixes called Stitch By Stitch, in addition to their most recent album, Passion.

Rendez-Vous Contemporains de Saint-Merry is out now via DDS.
