Moogfest announces first names for 2019 festival

  • Moogfest have revealed the first part of their 2019 lineup. The festival will go down in Durham, North Carolina from April 25th through 28th. For their 15th year, Moogfest have brought in some electronic music heavy-hitters, including Depeche Mode's Martin Gore—who will be interviewed as part of the festival's daytime programme—and William Basinski, who will perform at an overnight sleep concert. Other names booked include Matthew Dear, Mor Elian, Lucrecia Dalt, Tim Hecker (and the Konoyo Ensemble), Richard Devine, GAS, Stephan Bodzin, The Field and more. Moogfest will announce more names as well as daytime conversations, workshops, masterclasses, a "pop-up factory," "spatial sound sets" and more.
