  • LCD Soundsystem have revealed details of the live album they've been teasing since September 2018. After initial plans for release in late 2018, Electric Lady Sessions will arrive on February 8th via Columbia and DFA Records. It'll feature live renditions of six American Dream tracks, plus older cuts "get innocuous," "you wanted a hit" and "home." There will also be a few covers in the mix, including the previously shared Chic and Heaven 17 songs, as well as LCD's take on "Seconds" by The Human League. Electric Lady Sessions was recorded at Jimi Hendrix's famous New York studio of the same name. It'll be the band's fourth live album following London Sessions, Live 10th November London Alexandra Palace with Hot Chip and The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden. Listen to LCD's cover of Heaven 17's "(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang," and watch the video for "oh baby," released this past September and directed by Rian Johnson.
