- James Murphy's band recorded two tracks at Electric Lady Studios in New York for the Spotify Singles series.
LCD Soundsystem have released a live single on Spotify.
The two-track release in the Spotify Singles series features live versions of LCD Soundsystem's original songs and a Chic cover recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
First up is "Tonite" from the James Murphy-led band's 2017 comeback album American Dream, followed by "Home" from 2010's This Is Happening. The latter song transitions with a brief "Us V Them" interlude into the cover of Chic's 1978 hit, "I Want Your Love." Nancy Whang takes the lead on the cover, which they've been playing live at festivals over the summer.
In August, LCD Soundsystem released a remix EP, called Some Remixes, featuring edits by Dixon and Lovefingers.
