- She'll now DJ regularly at the Paris club, with her first gig as a resident in July.
Deena Abdelwahed is now a resident at Paris hotspot Concrete.
The Tunisian DJ and producer, who we highlighted on our Breaking Through series last year, earned the residency based on her first booking at Concrete back in January. Brice Coudert, one of the minds behind the club and its in-house label, describes her as fitting in "musically and personally" with the team.
Her first Concrete gig as a resident is set for Saturday, July 21st, where she's on a main room lineup with Truss, Paranoid London and Lemaire. The club's resident roster also includes Antigone, Cabanne, François X and Shlømo.
As for Coudert, last month he outlined early plans for a new label called Lavibe.
