  • Brice Coudert, of Paris's Concrete club and record label, is creating a new imprint called Lavibe. Coudert told Resident Advisor that starting Lavibe creates "a way for me to explore deeper, and more specifically, the kind of music I'm really into." He said this new project is a chance to differentiate from Concrete Music releases, which are "a bit wider musically, as [the label] represents all the musical genres we're doing at the club." Lavibe's first release, Sans Titre Ep 01 is coming out July 4th on 12-inch vinyl. It features new tracks "Tablharmonium," by Marco Shuttle, and "Handd," by Bambounou. The cover was created by French artist Marylou Guerra, who is booked to DJ at Freerotation for the first time this year. The next Lavibe release featuring Peter Van Hoesen and Simo Cell is already in the works for the fall. Preview the upcoming Sans Titre Ep 01 on Soundcloud.
