- A fresh release of the SW37 12-inch, from 1998, is up first with a Blue Maxx EP to follow.
New York techno stalwart Damon Wild has revealed initial plans for a reissue series on his longstanding label Synewave.
The project will kick off in April with a new release for SW37, a 12-inch with two untitled, anonymous cuts that first came out in 1998. After that, Wild will revisit Blue Maxx, his collaboration with Mederic Nebinger. He'll compile tracks from Blue Maxx's two 1996 12-inches, Smooth Landing and Unicorn, onto a new release. Further reissues will be announced later on.
Synewave has been home to more than 120 releases to date, most recently one from Wild's Mistaken Identity moniker. This reissue series follows Cosmic Path, his first album since 2003, which came out through Function's Infrastructure label last December.
