Tresor's next two records will come from Gerald Donald and Second Woman.
The first, due out March 9th, is Gerald Donald's latest LP, Conic Sections. It's a single, 30 minute-long track whose beatless synthscapes echo those heard on Donald's last release, Cellular Automata, as part of the duo Dopplereffekt. The former Drexciya member's latest alias, XOR Gate., refers to a type of operational logic in electronics or linguistics.
Later in March, Tresor will put out an EP by Second Woman, AKA Turk Dietrich and Joshua Eustis. The project, a rhythmically fractured, high-tempo take on techno with elements of dub and footwork, debuted in 2016 with a self-titled album, which was followed by another LP last year. Their latest EP, titled Apart / Instant, is out March 23rd.
