Warsnare will release his debut album, Warchestra, on Infinite Machine in February.
Warsnare, real name Daniel Potter, immersed himself into the recording process after the death of his mother in late 2015. He traveled to Brazil, where he absorbed Brazilian genres like choro, samba, bossa nova and proibidão, working them into his more typical UK-influenced styles (jungle, breaks, grime). Infinite Machine notes Warchestra's nine tracks, which feature the likes of poet Kate Tempest, Vienna Shilling and Laura Lopes, are infused with a "pop pizzazz" that it says puts Warsnare in league with crossover acts like Goldie, The Prodigy and Roni Size.
Warchestra follows Infinite Machine releases from Mun Sing, Alis and B.YHZZ in 2017.
