- Following this Tuesday's gig with Apollonia, Taimur and Fahad will focus on their own separate projects.
Blkmarket Membership will take a break from putting on events in New York.
Resident DJs and promoters Taimur and Fahad have been throwing parties under the Blkmarket banner for eleven years now. They've announced that they will go separate ways with their solo projects—Fahad will focus on his party Adventures In The Deep, and Taimur will do the same with The Selectors.
"It is our hope that these new projects will give us even more opportunities to contribute to the vibrancy of New York nightlife," they wrote in a joint statement, "allowing us the freedom to celebrate our individual tastes and creativity, without abandoning the original integrity of what we've built together."
The next Adventures In The Deep party is a boat cruise in August with Sven Weisemann. The last Blkmarket Membership party before they go on hiatus is this Tuesday, July 4th, with Apollonia.
The two DJs also announced a new production project called Blkmarket Soundsystem set to debut on vinyl in September.
