- The New York band will play across Europe and North America in support of their next LP, which arrives September 1st.
LCD Soundsystem will release their fourth album, American Dream, on September 1st.
The album, which will be released by Columbia Records and James Murphy's DFA Records, contains recent singles "Call The Police" and "American Dream."
The band will head on a world tour in support of the album. They will headline the opening weekend of this year's season of The Warehouse Project in Manchester on Saturday, September 16th, and Sunday the 17th—their first Manchester dates since 2010. They'll be joined by a selection of live acts and DJs at those gigs, with the full lineups for both events to be revealed next month. They'll then play at London's Alexandra Palace on Friday, September 22nd.
Other September dates will take place in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris and Glasgow, before the band head on an extensive North American tour in October, November and December. The band are currently in the midst of a seven-date run of shows at Williamsburg venue Brooklyn Steel.
Tickets for the UK events will go on sale at 9 AM BST on Wednesday, June 21st.
