The Austin music festival has announced acts for this year's official showcases.
SXSW 2016 will go down at various locations in Austin from March 15th to the 20th.
The annual festival made more artist announcements this week. Among the new additions are a grip of DJs from the footwork scene. DJ Spinn and RP Boo are joined by Gary, Indiana producer Jlin (who recently spoke with RA's Holly Dicker), Taso, DJ Clent and DJ Taye.
A handful of house and techno jocks will also head down for official showcases, including Benjamin Damage, Mark Farina and the Zenker Brothers. Mexico City club music collective NAAFI will head north for the festival, joining like-minded selectors UNiiQu3, MikeQ, Sarah Farina and Celestial Trax, as well as Austin local Ben Aqua. Additional highlights include Blanck Mass, Mumdance, Rabit and Bill Converse, a Texas producer who is preparing to release his debut LP on Dark Entries.
Dates, locations and individual showcase lineups are still TBA. Full lineup and ticket information can be found on SXSW's official site.
